It is a popular tourist spot of the Dhamtari district, about 15 km from Dhamtari and about 90 km from Raipur. Built across the Mahanadi River, the reservoir offers a lot of water sports, Virgin Islands, and much more. Also known as Ravishankar Dam, during monsoons becomes a must visit place with a picturesque island and enriched flora and fauna. State Tourism board has its property for tourists to stay.
