Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds will be processed for bookings made through the Chhattisgarh Tourism website (http://tourism.cgstate.gov.in/). By making a booking, you agree to this policy.

1. Cancellation & Refund Eligibility

Refunds for cancellations will be processed based on the following conditions:

A. Standard Cancellation Charges

1. Cancellation 7 days or more before the check-in date: 90% refund (10% retention charge applies).
2. Cancellation between 7 to 3 days before check-in: 75% refund (25% retention charge applies).
3. Cancellation between 3 to 2 days before check-in: 50% refund (50% retention charge applies).
4. Cancellation less than 48 hours before check-in: No refund (100% retention charge applies).
5. No-show (Failure to check-in on booking date): No refund.

B. Special Cases for Full Refund

Full refunds will be granted in the following cases:

1. Cancellation by Chhattisgarh Tourism Board due to operational or administrative reasons.
2. Government orders requiring cancellation of bookings.

2. Refund Processing

1. Refunds will be processed through the original payment method used for booking.
2. Refunds may take 7-10 working days to reflect in the customer’s account, depending on the payment provider.
3. Any applicable transaction fees or bank charges will be deducted from the refund amount.

3. Non-Refundable Conditions

1. Bookings are non-transferable, and name changes are not permitted.
2. If a guest fails to inform the property manager about a late arrival, the booking may be cancelled after 12 hours of the scheduled check-in, with no refund.
3. No refund or concession will be provided if the property operates on alternate power sources (solar power) and cannot support air conditioning due to occupancy restrictions.

4. Policy Updates

Chhattisgarh Tourism reserves the right to modify or update this refund policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and it is the responsibility of the user to review them periodically.
